Develop partnerships and projects for art & cultural field

About us

Framedata is an augmented reality (AR) studio, aiming to create and evangelize new types of content for artistic & commercial purposes, unlocking cultural and educational opportunities. We mostly aim to create mobile apps and experiences. We are a startup at a very early stage, and are looking for teammates in Taiwan to transform our vision into reality.

Our company name puts an emphasis on the fact that we will never sell our users data. We believe there is other ways to run a business and we want to try to build something that looks like what we want for our future.

We believe in transparency, respect, diversity and ethics. We want to provide a nice work environment for people, so they can do a job they enjoy, learn things and build something nice together.

About the job

Framedata is looking for a Head of Art and Culture Partnerships to help us develop the cultural branch of the company. Basically, this means a networker involved in the art & culture scene to create and organize exhibitions involving augmented reality content and develop partnerships with museums.

This position is a strategic hiring for the company, with strong evolution possibilities in the future. We will value your strategic inputs, and vision for our products and give you strong autonomy and space for your initiatives. You will be able to develop your own way of doing things and create something from scratch while working at the intersection of art, culture, innovation, and tech.

We want you to develop a strategy for long-lasting partnerships, inform and report directly to the CEO of the outcomes, and potential growth, and advise on business opportunities. The goal is to make people envision Framedata as their augmented reality solution for their events and exhibitions.

This position will allow you to be involved in the Taiwanese artistic scene, develop projects with passionate people, and explore new ways to discover artistic experiences with augmented reality.

Your Role and Responsibilities

The role’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Set up one exhibition (at least) featuring augmented reality artworks in Taipei, creating press coverage
  2. Contact museums and galleries to introduce our technology and explore partnership possibilities
  3. Get in touch with the Ministry of Culture to explore cultural, artistic, touristic, and educational opportunities in Taiwan
  4. Create and maintain a Taiwanese (and later, international) network of artists working with augmented reality, evangelize the technology and possible outcomes to them
  5. Build events and opportunities to have press relationships
